I first became aware of the BYD when I had my 'LG only kinda/sorta works' with the SMA storage inverter debacle.<br>

Not many making a high voltage battery now and shockingly to me, seems that 48V has kind of won the "beta/vhs" battle for now. Maybe the new SolarEdge Nexis ESS and inverter tips this again, but to answer your question, didn't find BYD from any "major" distributors
during a cursory look.<br>

We did just install the latest SMA inverter and we liked it...I'm a sucker for SMA string inverters and we enjoyed using the SunSpec functionality which provides great value.</div>
