<div dir="ltr" gmail_original="1"><div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">A 460W panel will be fine for this client with a 5120 Wh battery. We can get about 2,000 Wh of charging on an average day here, and they would never burn anywhere close to half a tank of electrons in a day. The use case is for an island retreat where they spend a week there, and then it will sit unused for months at a time. They can probably get through the whole week without charging at all in case the weather is bad. I'm going to recommend a Chargeverter with a portable generator for emergency backup charging.</div><br clear="all"></div><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><br>Jason Szumlanski<div><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Principal Solar Designer | Florida Solar Design Group</span><br style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">NABCEP Certified Solar Professional (PVIP)</span><br style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Florida State Certified Solar Contractor CVC56956</span></div><div><font color="#333333" face="Roboto, RobotoDraft, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Florida Certified Electrical Contractor EC13013208</font></div></div></div></div><br></div><br><div class="gmail_quote gmail_quote_container"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Aug 17, 2025 at 11:05 AM Dave Angelini Offgrid Solar via RE-wrenches <re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin: 0px 0px 0px 0.8ex; border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); padding-left: 1ex;"><div style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;">
