<p>I know very little about Solark and happy about it. In the old days, Midnite and Schneider had a 10 dollar switch that would shut down the inverter from outside. When I had to use this it was great as I could just remove it after the bozo, I mean inspector left.</p>
<p>If he really wants a knife switch (the oldest of oldest ways to shut down all the way back to Edison.) Install one and deal with it later.</p>

<div style="font-size:small">Correct, it does not have an external disconnect, but if you open the cover, each battery has it's own disconnect and the Sol-Ark has a battery disconnect. </div>
<div style="font-size:small">Looks like I'm in the market for a 100 amp rated outdoor, lockable DC rated knife switch.</div>
