Then, you would program this parameter to be Off-grid or Off-grid 60 (for 60 Hz grid). It should auto populate adjusted parameters.</div><div><br></div><div>As far as the PV only vs Gen question. If you have a generator connected to the Sunny Island, you will want to use "Gen". PV only means that there is no grid or generator in the system, just a Sunnyboy downstream of the load terminals, typically back feeding the load center. </div><div><br></div><div>Good luck, I have forgotten almost everything about the Sunny Island now!</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote gmail_quote_container"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Mon, May 26, 2025 at 10:33 PM Lou Russo via RE-wrenches <<a href="mailto:re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org">re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>Aloha All,<br clear="all"></div><div><br></div><div>I am messing around with a system in our shop just 'cause I wanted to mess around with AC coupled systems at my leisure.
This setup is completely off-grid. I have an autoformer between the SB and the SI.

For instance, there is no "country standard" parameter on the SB. And when I make the recommended changes to the parameters that do match up with the manuals, the value ranges on the SB are much tighter so it does not let me enter negative numbers as the manuals are wanting me to set for frequency shifting to work well.
