<u>slab only radiant heat</u> & cooling. Back up depending on climate is one issue: grid tied is not a problem electric works fine. The first house I did they installed 200 amp service before I was involved & had to upgrade to 400 Amp service. Lesson one -
Have you plan together before you start to build. Double check that your electric service can handle the 40A for 1 heat pump & 100A for the back up tank heaters. You can see where the 400A service comes in quickly.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">Off grid LPG boiler as a backup or oversize the heat pumps.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">I recommend a back up source of heat – If something can fail & it can freeze at some point in time, it will.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic",sans-serif">That Said it’s a lot of standard plumbing & a 100% fill with 40% concentration fill with glycol. I am not sure that I would recommend it as a DIY system though I think
that they do present it as such.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
