              there was ever an offer to change the hardware out to an
              internet capable upgrade or replacement. Thank you for
              clarifying. I'm really appreciating remote monitoring
              options these days whether Midnite,
              Outback(OpticsRe),Solaredge, or Sol-Ark. It's great to be
              able to check on remote sites and even adjust settings
              from the phone or computer.</div>

              <div dir="ltr">The issue is that the SL version does not
                contain an ethernet port for the network and does not
                have the ability to utilize Opticsre. So perhaps an SL
                version would be ideal to have in your service vehicle
                but many have concluded that Opticsre is priceless for
                supporting a client effectively especially for most off
                grid sites that tend to be off the beaten path.

                        <div>Perhaps I'm one of the few stuck with a
                          handful of the Mate3-SL units that was
                          counting on Outback's promise that they would
                          be upgraded for free once the chips became
                          available but that promise was not carried on
                          to the new owners. I believe most all of the
                          Flexpower Radian panels AEE offloaded at the
                          end shipped with the SL version. They
                          specifically just let me know that that
                          program was affiliated only with the Enersys
                          ownership and now that they are independent
                          the program is no longer offered. One more
                          reason for me to no longer offer their
                          products unless for repairs and like for like
                          replacements. Midnite's timing on the release
                          of their new products is perfect! Only thing
                          missing now is an effective monitoring
                          platform like Opticsre.</div>
