In many cases, the homeowner has already purchased the equipment, and it's sitting in a partially opened pile in the garage. When they realize it's not as easy as plug-and-play, they panic and start calling around. I have two emails in my inbox right now from existing customers who want to purchase EG4 batteries and have me install them. I have reluctantly been installing EG4 batteries in these situations, but telling clients to consider me like a handyman, and they are on their own if things don't work out. I'm not getting involved with service nightmares that may come up later.
