<div dir="ltr">Hi Michael, <div>I have also gotten some calls from people asking me to install equipment if they purchase it on their own. Specifically a few calls about the EcoFlow equipment. It sounds like it even has some of the required UL listings (I have not looked into it too closely). But I tell them to do it themselves if they want to buy a battery system off of amazon. If they want something more reliable and proven, I will install a proper system for them, but it will certainly cost a lot more.</div><div>Cheers,</div><div>Dave</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote gmail_quote_container"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Mon, Jan 20, 2025 at 3:48 PM Michael Morningstar via RE-wrenches <<a href="mailto:re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org">re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div>I'm getting calls almost weekly. "Hi, I bought an EcoFlow home back up system, I'm looking for someone to install solar panels for it". I've convinced a couple of clients to take a hit and sell the EcoFlow, Bluetti, Anker units at a loss and let me install a permanent system. Anyone else getting these requests? I've already determined that a lot of my potential off-grid work has disappeared because of these portable units.
