I still find it hard to get the Magna Lugs on there. Here's a simple trick for getting fine-stranded cable into a lug:
Make two very careful radial cuts around the end of the insulation,
one at the intended end of the insulation and a second about halfway
or less toward the cable end. Remove the ring of insulation closest
to the end. Slide the remaining ring to the end of the cable but
don't remove it from the cable. Press the cable end into the lug
opening as far as it will go; the ring of insulation holds the
strands together. Slit the ring and push it the rest of the way into
the lug. Crimp. <br>
