<div dir="ltr">Of the other 2 or 3. PIKAs you installed are you aware of any failures?  I installed one at my place and had to sell it to one of'<div>my customers when I found out that they were sold out, not aware that they were not going to make any more. </div><div>It worked great for me and is still running fine at my customers' high elevation home site.  I get a lot of requests for</div><div>a similar sized turbine but can't  find anything.  I'm still trying to get in contact with a Florida distributor of the Bornay 1.5 kw 2 blade turbine which is the only one I can find in the weight and price range to go on old Bergy XL.1 towers. I really liked the Pika as it was extremely quiet, no problem with a 1000'  power run with the high voltage DC output, good monitoring and excellent voltage control. I was planning to add solar at the wind site as that wind site was also the best solar site on my property.  I still have the PV link. I'm giving a small wind workshop at the Energy Fair in Custer and once again having a hard time finding a reliable wind turbine to recommend. Almost all my current customers are off grid and wind power really helps in our New England winter. About half of my XL.1 installs are still running but the noise level is an issue on several and they have to shut them down to keep the neighbors happy during significant wind events. Any suggestions?</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;font-size:12pt;font-family:"Liberation Serif","serif""><span style="font-family:"Arial;Helvetica;sans-serif","serif"">John Blittersdorf</span></p>
