<div dir="ltr">Those are the exact inserts that I've used. Here's the clamps: <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H7YMVUO/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_7?smid=&psc=1">clamps</a> I'm not too keen on buying from Amaz... so if you know of any other source for these clamps let everyone know. I have installed two clamps per insert and did rotate them as indicated. That just seemed like good practice at the time. When installing the pipe onto these I used a camp stove and a pot of boiling water. Stick the end of the pipe in the boiling water for a little bit and they go on nicely. If it gets hard part way, I stick the pipe end and insert both into the boiling water to finish the job.<div><br></div><div>I think I will not need any more inserts or clamps for this job, it looks like the pitless adapter is the problem. I'll pull the pump tomorrow and see if I can just replace the o-ring in it or if it needs something more. </div><div>Thanks for all the suggestions.</div><div>Brad<br></div><div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, May 26, 2024 at 2:31 PM jay <<a href="mailto:jay.peltz@gmail.com">jay.peltz@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div style="overflow-wrap: break-word;">Hi Brad,<div><br></div><div>Here is the link.</div><div><br></div><div><a href="https://www.supplyhouse.com/Boshart-SSMAXL-100-1-Stainless-Steel-Male-Insert-Adapter-Extra-Long?utm_source=google_ad&utm_medium=shopping_neutral&utm_campaign=Shopping_Neutral_New_users&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwu8uyBhC6ARIsAKwBGpQPie_fqna9Gi5uV3xJmRp-HuZVqG0d3rDUmMZSAikrkFZIrHRnqCQaAuZyEALw_wcB" target="_blank">https://www.supplyhouse.com/Boshart-SSMAXL-100-1-Stainless-Steel-Male-Insert-Adapter-Extra-Long?utm_source=google_ad&utm_medium=shopping_neutral&utm_campaign=Shopping_Neutral_New_users&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwu8uyBhC6ARIsAKwBGpQPie_fqna9Gi5uV3xJmRp-HuZVqG0d3rDUmMZSAikrkFZIrHRnqCQaAuZyEALw_wcB</a></div><div><br></div><div>I’ve installed dozens of wells and dozens of hydros at high pressure using these.</div><div>Multiple clamps per connector and I’ve had no leaks.</div><div>Also while it doesn’t seem right, using teflon tape on the barbs actually helps to reduce leaks.</div><div><br></div><div>Install the clamps at 120 or 180 degrees from each other is important. </div><div><br></div><div>If you want to do it correctly then use a HDPE butt welding machine.
