<div dir="ltr">As far as wind is concerned, I recommend SuperWind,
made in Germany.  It is well built and designed to handle high
winds.  It is rated at 1000 watts and I have seen data showing
over 1kwhr for an hour increment.  Typically it is
outputting 100 to 300 watts. My customer found it on line and
asked what I thought about it.  I had not heard of it before but
the specs sounded good.  I already had upgraded their system
from a disaster (they actually burned up the power room )  I
installed an Outback VFX3648 on an epanel and installed 6 panels
on the remnants of their original building and then added 4 DPW
racks of 3 panels each so they could tilt for winter snow.  16
L16 wet cells. They do maintenance frequently enough to keep an
eye on water level. It worked pretty well, but they still had
too much generator time in the winter when it was hard to get
propane up the mountain.  I then installed their Superwind on a
35" tilt up tower next to their 50' comm tower.  Since the
mountaintop has good winds during the winter, it has saved them
75% of their generator time and consequently they have not had
to refuel in the winter at all.  We monitor it with opticsRE and
also with some of their transmitter data.  Their load is about
300 watts 24/7 with it dropping off a little late at night.
