<p>Cat 4 Hillary could overspeed a few props. Better check those torques. I had an old Four Winds on my Sailboat that is still spinning I am told.</p>
<p>Four Winds is long out of business but they were really tuff units and protected themselves reliably. Super loud and crank out the amps !</p>
<p>The storm below could impact weather severely in So Cal and minor effects up though Tahoe region and even PNW. Friday !</p>

VAWT is just basically a bad idea, as it's trying to make usable power too close to the ground.
