If so, the manufacturer should be supplying a new microinverter as well.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">We had a little "experiment" with Qcell AC modules. A couple dozen contracts and our guys hate them. The wire management is a nightmare for the Q cable, and The module manufacturer didn't do us any favors with wire management for the DC conductors. Not being able to make the array map before the panels are laid is also a problem. We abandoned this product pretty quickly.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">This is definitely a downside of AC modules. You really have to replace it with another AC module unless you are replacing the microinverter as well. Post Hurricane Ian, with all of the modules damaged from winborne debris here, I'm glad we don't have many AC modules out there. It's hard enough finding a module that looks similar and has a similar size. the alumium flange that is typically tapped into the microinverter plastic housing that I'm after (the part that is attached to the rail during installation). In this case, the micros were in held a plastic bracket that was glued onto the module backsheet and so the standard mounting flange wasn't part of the set up. It was a Solaria 355 with an Enphase IQ7+. Solaria is going to replace the modules with a standard module, not an AC module (MC4 cabling not an Q Cable to J-box). This seems OK but the issue is the that microinverters don't have an integrated plate to mount to the existing rail. </p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal"> </p></div><div><p class="MsoNormal">I've talked with Enphase and it doesn't appear that they are willing to sell us this mounting flange plate (or it could have been too unusual for this particular tech support contact to deal with). Im sure I can fab up something, but curious if anyone has dealt with this?
