<p>Tesla just announced that they were only going to be making the
AC battery, which is what you are talking about here.</p>
<p>No DC only battery.</p>
<p>They are making their own inverter from what I understand.<br>
</p>
<p>There is also a rumor that NFPA is going to limit Lithium
batteries to 2 kW in or on a residential building.</p>
<p>But that might be all smoke because you couldn't park your Tesla
car in your garage.</p>
