Main reason for taking cell voltage AND Spg. If all the Spgs are good then and the voltage reads 2.5/Vpc low then the lead oxide has been depleted on the plate and is sitting in the bottom of that cell. I was analyzing a string of 8 Trojan L-16 batteries with badly corroded
terminals. The specific gravity read perfect on each battery. Two of the
batteries read low voltage; about 4.2 volts.It seems like one cell's
worth of voltage wasn't showing up on each battery. Has anyone seen this

What would cause this? How can the specific gravity be right?<br class=""><br class="">
