We have been using Energy Toolbase (as Mac mentioned) to model proposals to accurately estimate post-solar bills under one of these new rates schedules. TOU-A in my experience tends to be a little better for folks in the “normal” monthly consumption range, say below 800-1000 kWh/month. High energy users will probably be better off going TOU-B. For those with electric vehicles, EV-A is a really good option. That said, we’re still wrapping our heads around the best rates and design strategies.
