The home was off grid for years and now is operated primarily with the grid being used as to charge the batteries when the solar is deficient. There is a generator on site to back up the grid also. Utility grid is also used for some primary loads in the neighborhood (maple syrup production), but that is a separate system from the Trace.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The inverter system is a relatively simple 120VAC deal (one inverter).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have not had my hands on the new Schneider inverters.
