Electrical contractor) asked me why metal conduit is required from the
combiner to the inverter. In this case the DC run will go under the house
in the crawl space before exiting the foundation and up to the DC disco on the
inverter. With inverters that incorporate AFCI on the PV side, I couldn't come
up with a good answer.</DIV>
