<div dir="ltr">While Fronius did pay us for many $250 inverter swaps, the process was a real hassle. They made us talk to customer service from the site to do diagnostics (which is not always possible due to the hours we work). They made us do this despite obvious need for replacement in 100% of the cases. It was just a bunch of BS hoops to jump through. It gets expensive when you have to make 2 or 3 trips just to do what you know is inevitably coming.<div><br></div><div>I can't complain about the payment time-frame, but they frequently sent us paperwork with no job reference, so tying everything together was a hassle as well.</div><div><br></div><div>We dealt with the dealer credit nonsense and the multiple inverter swap confusion with them multiple times, too.</div><div><br></div><div>Fortunately most of the swaps were for customers of a defunct dealer, so they were ultimately happy with us for helping them out. Because of the nature of my business, we have designed and installed
thousands of small RE systems. As a result I install a much higher
volume of components and consequently deal with a greater number of
failed units. Over the last 14 years, Magnum Energy and Kyocera are
the only companies that have offered hassle free compensation for
labor. Magnum has established time for each repair whereas Kyocera
pays for all of our R&R time.<br>

Fronius? Took me a year and many arguments, pleading, emails and
phone calls to get them to cough up payment for an inverter that <u>they
insisted</u> I return to them. (BTW, this was the 3rd inverter
swap) Then, instead of mailing me a check, they issued a credit to
Sunwize that only applied to future Fronius purchases, something
which I will never do again. A boat load of crap later I got the
credit applied to my account. <br>
