    <div class="moz-cite-prefix">When I had batteries reverse polarity
      they quickly turned around but never had their capacity after.<br>
      2nd, that is a clear indication of a DC drain that can kept
      draining all the way to zero.  The strongest batteries keep giving
      voltage, while weaker batteries give all they have and become
      resistors.  Its really a horrible situation that I have since
      avoided with LVDs, etc.<br>

                I second tump.<br>
                Most likely a bad /cell battery took out the system.<br>
                As these are VRLA batteries, I'm curious do,the cases
                look damaged such as expanded or sunk in?<br>
