      Expanding on William's suggestion, you might also consider a
      conventional 240V time switch on the AC1 input, to limit the times
      when grid charging might occur. The inherent limitation of this
      approach is that it while it would effectively prevent charging
      during peak hours, it would defeat allowing the grid to charge
      when really needed, so the owners would have to pay more attention
      to their usage habits. This may not be so bad, as it would only
      affect short-term usage and would not depend on weather patterns
      varying the solar insolation.<br>

            but the customer is really not too excited about it.  And
            based on the manual, Energy Management Mode seems like it
