on the Outback: Use 9V (smoke alarm size) batteries</font> ganged
together to create test voltage for the inverter. They can be joined
"head to tail" to get enough voltage to turn the thing on and have
it self test, but if you screwed something up the amperage isn't
enough to smoke anything.<br>
