Light switch/outlet, breaker panel, meter etc until we got to a big generating power plant with ‘smoke’ stacks. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Then steam power-150 years ago & still in use today today. Fuel for heat: wood, oil, coal NG, [a fairly detailed 3 slides on] nuclear, hydro and bio-fuel. Most use steam but burning stuff for heat to make steam is <i>not</i> efficient. Then wind & solar. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;color:#1F497D'>Lots of big cool pictures of some familiar and some new things like a landfill, 100+ car coal train [2 days worth], big turbine blade and two pie charts. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:14.0pt;color:#1F497D'>I don’t treat them like little kids, I expect that they are smarter than I was in 5<sup>th</sup> grade. They will get it because they are in school and they know they are there to be quiet and listen. And when I stopped mid-sentence and stared straight at the loudmouth showoff - he shut up and watched the rest of the program.
