I suggested that we tap off of the output from one of the AC legs of the Enphase output instead. From the inventor of the tracker: from the manufacturer"The tracker needs 12V 10A on demand. I have found that a small battery w/ charger nearby or AC to DC converter to 20A (for surge) will work." These would be short surges of perhaps 4 seconds. Since it is backfeeding onto the lines instead of powering a device, i.e. a motor which might overheat if there is an imbalance, the only consideration would seem to be that the frequency of the signal remain stable. Once in the bus bar of the house panel, it would be irrelevant that there would be a temporary voltage drop or slight imbalance.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Any thoughts?
