<DIV>We still have ours (of about 15 years) and other than the clock lighting,
it's working like a champ. It does get used less these days since we
installed a ceramic (electric) cooktop also (we're offgrid) and have found
creative ways to use the electric more and more. </DIV>

quite a niche market over the years for units that go to off-grid rez homes
and remote sites, and see the value of continuing to offer models that don't
require electricity to operate.<BR><BR>The electronic ignition models use AC
power, but can be lit with a match during an outage. They are also
developing a line with battery-powered electronic ignition for complete
stand-alone use. The models with standing pilots will eventually be
