thinking of adding another 1/2" (or perhaps 3/4") of plywood over the entire
roof; I just don't think that lagging into those fakey I-beams is meaty enough
(this is a high wind area). If I have another well-attached layer,
then I can lag into the roof pretty much everywhere.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

something like the Unirac Fast foot to attach your PV standoffs. Fast
foot uses multiple smaller gauge screws into the decking,
necessary since engineered beams are not able to provide the 4-5
inches of solid wood needed for traditional lag bolts.

and cost-competitive with dimension lumber, are usually
recommended for joists or floor beams though not usually used for
