    Carl,<br>
    Macs have always worked on mod-sine, meaning the SW- and SW+-series
    Trace/Xantrex, the only genuine mod-sine inverters I know of. <br>
    <br>
    On mod-square wave, like DRs and Us, older Macs were incompatible
    ('90s and earlier) but more recent ones have generally worked OK.<br>
    <br>
    Now, on the other hand, when I was using a mod-sine SW+2524 in our
    home, the hard drive on our family's desktop modern Imac fried. It
    was replaced under warranty, but we lost all data. That doesn't
    prove anything pro or con, but gives one pause to wonder...<br>
