after you get a fudge factor in there,~ 36' +/-for your 12

face=Arial>Sanyo's HIPs are good modules,$$$$, they have addressed the hi
temp issues. The only issue might be the cantilever from the mounting foot
to edge of module on the rail usually ~18"-24".I don't believe that there is any
requirments for "walk ~ area" as long as there IS a stand off, then one can have
feet under the modules & hold onto the edge. The wiring will be an issue but
you didn't say how many stories the building will be. I like to maximize the
roof area, placement of feet as close to the edge + some blocking on the
first to 2nd truss on the edges,for additional windage support + attention
to wire securing & watertight feet then the system shouldn't need any room
to walk on.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

fit the roof with almost too much perfection: this would be difficult to
install as it would fill the roof "edge to edge" in both directions. Are there
consistent guidelines about the amount of roof edge which must remain
uncluttered or is this mainly driven by the amount of aggravation that the
installer is willing to tolerate? Which organizations would want to influence
such decisions in the Atlanta region? Details are: residential, new
construction, wooden truss type roof framing, finish roofing yet to be
