you tried the aluminum foil type of duct tape with the peel off wax protective
paper over the adhesive. It seems to be virtually impervious to heat or cold,
though I have not tried to apply it to the back of a PV module.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

keep it on the raft for all sort of repairs that get very hot & wet.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
