<DIV>We first started installing the Ac power relay design to cut solar inverter output based on high battery voltage when in stand-alone mode, but recently found out Xantrex was implementing into their software the out of sync 60 cycle mode to signal solar inverter to dis-connect from line like the Sunny-Island uses.</DIV>

<DIV>We were very excited about this as the power relays and high battery limit control is a pain to install and always a fear the client will shut off breaker that poweres the relay. When we first mentioned this on the list, somebody sent us a link to a Xantrex installation notes on the subject which clearly indicates this feature is now in all new software, so we tried contacting Xantrex to see if there was an update to this docement as we could no longer find it on the ir web site. The service technician told us last week that this feature was only in the software for the XW4548 and not the larger XW6048 which is the model we have been installing.</DIV>

<DIV>Whats the story - the old docements say it is a feature now, the service tech tells us its vaporware, and there is no longer any documentation on line that tells anything about this feature or how to implement it.</DIV>

Intermittently, we have a problem feeding GFI breakers. <BR>Its the strangest thing, sometimes it trips GFI's and other times it doesn't. Aside from the possibility that some of the GFI's aren't wired properly we haven't been able to figure it out.
