<div>There were originally 8 batteries in the set. 4 were just pulled out and the remaining 4 are temporary till the replacements arrive. The loads are 75 watts constant. But good point, this is a smaller bank now. I will put 4 more loaners in there to see what happens.</div>
<div>The 4 batteries are strong, so i didn't expect a battery problem and it is getting the solar input daily also. As long as the sun holds out! Were entering dark season up here.....</div>

It is hooked to 4 Trojan L-16 G batteries. When i arrived the voltage was 23.8, the other day when i arrived it was 25.5 volts and shut down both times with the same error showing. There are 1050 watts of panels and an MX 60 on the battery bank also. In the past when the batteries went low it would show a low battery error, so i don't expect that is the problem. Loads are minimal<br>
Disconnecting the battery or starting the generator clears the error.<br> <br>When i called Outback i was told there was a $250.00 "out of warranty charge" as well as a retail of $1400 for the boards. She also insists it was probably a bad battery bank, or at least needing an eq charge. It just had one 9 days ago. The hydrometer readings are all close and the voltages similar.<br>
<br>Anyone run into this before and have any knowledge on this error? <br> <br>On another note, has anyone had any Trojan L-16 G batteries with cell failures? The date code is J8 <br>I have had 2 in the last year, one was under warranty and the last one out of warranty.<br>
