<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>Can anyone help me out with a reference.</FONT> </P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>NEC 2008, 690.33 (3), Type. "The connectors shall be
of the latching or locking type…"</FONT> </P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>I know I once hand my hands on the authoritative
source defining the terms latching and locking, but no longer seem to be able to
find it.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>Do I still have it right: Latching: can be
disconnected by applying a force of 30 in-lbs, no other manipulation needed.
Locking: can not be disconnected without manipulating the connector, but can be
done by hand. Locking requiring a tool: same as locking but manipulation of
connector can not be by hand alone, requires a tool?</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>Thanks,</FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial> </FONT>
