MPPT</title></head><body>
<div>Hi Carl,</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Depends on what kind of microhydro output you are talking.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>We have installed two systems now with a HiPower 3-phase
inductive Alt output voltage clamped and rectified straight into a SMA
standard SunnyBoy (with blessings from SMA). As long as you
don't go over 600 VDC the warranty applies and the MPPT locks in
nicely.</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>I don't have experience with going direct DC like from a PM motor
though - probably would work but maybe others have some experience
with this?</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Best,</div>
<div><br></div>
