I am a part of the Surrette beta test program on these L-16 lead
calcium wet cell batteries. I have had these on my 48 volt Outback
system since 6-14-08 and so far, so good. I have heard the price will
only be slightly higher than their lead antimony batteries. I have no
idea when they will be released for public purchase.<br>

cycling is not really necessary. For your information I happen to know
that Surrette has a lead calcium project in devleopment with SMA.
