<br />Mick says: Have you considered using strut channel made of aluminum? ...or stainless steel? www.mcmaster.com has both of these, but the aluminum is mill finish, not clear anodized.

<br />With steel strut, no matter how good the finish is, if you cut it you'll have unprotected steel on the cut edge. Spray galvanizing in a can, anyone?
