Don and Carl,

I'm not sure what the concern is about TC in the sun. It is labelled sunlight resistant because the most common application of the cable is in outdoor cable trays that are exposed to sun all day long in industrial applications. I have not seen the degradation of TC like I have seen of PVC conduit that is not treated with UV resistant paint.

I like the idea of some

Carl, When using TC as module interconnects there is sometimes the need for the TC to span a space of one to two inches between rack assemblies and be subsequentlly exposed to direct south sun. I have used a black split flex material over the TC for a bit more protection. Not sure what to call it but it is used over bundles of wire in automotive application, boats etc.
