As I understand it, the Sunlynx is only batteryless, you don't need it with batteries.
As to installing a battery based system you know my feelings, but since the Vanner inverters right now are not avaible ( they are being upgraded and improved and unless they fix the problem, they will drop out when the grid goes down. By their own admission they are not designed as a big UPS as the Trace or AEI might be used).
Right now the only one that is availble and works is the MM-5.
Good luck,

Hi Wrenches, Has anyone had the opportunity yet to test drive a Sunlynx - with or without batteries? I have heard great things about it (all from Vanner) and wondered if there is a second opinion out there. After a less than wonderful runaround with the SunTie, I'm hoping I can test the Sunlynx vicariously, if you will. Any input is greatly appreciated. A special thanks to all who contributed to my knowledge of trackers. - Baran DBA HelioElectric- - - - To send a message: RE-wrenches@topica.com Archive of previous messages: http://www.topica.com/lists/RE-wrenches/ List rules & etiquette: http://www.mrsharkey.com/wrenches/etiquete.htm Check out participant bios: www.mrsharkey.com/wrenches/index.html Hosted by Home Power magazine Moderator: michael.welch@homepower.com
