John,
The OK4U is available direct from the manufacturer in the Netherlands (Trace was only a middleman). Source is NKF Electronics. Email contact is Diederik.Jaspers@nkf.nl Website is www.nkf.nl and http://www.nkf.nl/electronics/photo.htm Say hello to Henk from Joel. He may remember I am the guy from Solec who bought the first U.S. version of the OK4U with a personal check at the PV trade show in France :-)
Best regards,
Joel Davidson

Does anyone know of any US electric utilities that have type approved the "OK4U" or the Trace "Microsine" for grid interconnection use before the inverter lost its UL listing in November of 2000.  We are acting in behalf of our local utility in seeking contact information for them concerning this type of inverter. A contact person or phone number would be helpful.   Thanks!John MottlRainshadow Solarsolar@rockisland.com
