Bill, Most of the RF
interference is am. Generally fm is pretty immune. The other issue is
the qualify of the power supply in the equipment. Bottom line
-probably.
I would expect two problems as
near-certainty
The audio signal will carry a buzz that cannot be
filtered out and will be at least a minor, perhaps a major
annoyance.
The power supply section will run hotter, and
that represents energy waste.
I wouldn't consider it.
