Bill,
The DR series inverter is very popular with Missionaries
(don't know if your client is one or not). I would reccomend him using a pure
sine (exeltech inverter) for the radio transmitter.

Subject: DR's and Radio Tranmitter
[RE-wrenches]
Dear Friends,
A potential client of mine wants to take a DR1524E to West Africa to
power a radio transmitter and receiver. It is an Italian, D. B. Electronica,
300w, FM transmitter, model PM300. Does anyone know whether the DR will cause
interference with the transmitter?
Best,
Bill Roush
