RE: Xantrex SW Series [RE-wrenches]

The latest news from our friends at Xantrex as I understand it:

Since, in their words, there are no "material safety hazards" with the 4.10 SW in the "sell" mode in a utility-interactive application, each utility will be using their own judgment as to what to do with these inverters in their service territory.  In the meantime, we are to patiently await for the 4.2 version to come out which will need the GTI appendage to deal with THD and islanding issues.  And we are to patiently await the necessary up-grade chip to make the existing 4.10 SWs GTI-compatible.  When the chip and GTI will be ready for prime-time....there's no definitive answer.  Pagan, are you listening?  Any news from our friends at Arlington?
