Pacific Northwest training opportunity
Randy

Got back Sunday night, we prewired and railed 200 75watt panels for the system at Sunrise.  Jeff, from the park service will be laying conduit from the roof crest to the power room this week.  Everyone siad hi, by the way.  We are due to go back in two weeks to mount the array on the roof, hopefully the weather will cooperate.  The balance of the equipment will be delivered and we will do the final wiring (indoors) around November 5.  They are using an AES 20 Kw inverter from Australia, I guess that Trace Technologies has quit making stand alone large inverters....everyone is jumping on the grid tie wagon with both feet.  I plan on attending the Solar Summit, slipping in to help Christopher set up his display, I will be sleeping on the floor and scrounging kitchen scaps while I am there.  I am not sure that it would be worth it to pay to attend although it will be interesting to see what the Utilities have up thier sleeves!

Two of the engineers from BPA that was involved in the Wenatchee Post Office install helped us wire modules at Sunrise.  Mentioned that it was utter chaos, nobaody really in charge and a lot of finger pointing at who was responsible.  I guess that they got it installed , but hte final hook up is waiting on you know who.....our favorite PUD engineer!  I have tryed to call Jim to see what is up with the college system, but he never returns my calls.

Mentioned to Dave Love to keep you in mind if he needs more help on an install, we wil lsee what comes up.  Things usally go wild right before everything tapers off for the winter.  Have you contacted Phill Glas yet to see what he is up to.  I think that he could use some help, but I have not gotten any more details since he called about 3 possible projects coming up.

Ending up pretty busy this month, between Sunrise, Solar Summit, a Dance festival this weekend and I have to give a presentation to my nephrews class about Solar Systems.  I hope it settles down after that!  Talk to you later
