Bob and all the wrenches. Welcome to the so called
global economy of phony free market. I feel this entire wrench site
will be nothing more than a soap box for complaining as any one who has any real
skills and independence is shunted aside in favor of the predator capitalists.
I have a Bergey XL 1 up with a bad control box
that is driving me crazy to diagnose. The customer is unhappy.Bergey can kiss my
you know what if they think I am going to play this kind of suckers game. May
they go down in flames along with the rest of the global sheep.

[RE-wrenches]
We know how this is gonna work, we can't get them and they say that it is
a
90 - 120 day wait. How long have some of us been waiting? I have
interested
people who will not part with cash till they ship or
arrive.
At least they are not discounting them. The short towers suck. I
spend lots
of time convincing customers that they have to have a tall
tower.
This will be a nightmare for Bergey.
We might get to hold the
customers hands as they put them up !! What's that
worth?
Time to look
further at the AWP 3.6? if you can get the sob who is importing
them to give
you prices and return e - mails, I can't.
Don't get me
started,
Bob

Wind Turbine Home Furnishings? [RE-wrenches]
This just came in from our
state energy office -
Subject: Wind turbines at Target!
WORLD WIND
WATCH - ITıS A SIGN OF THE TIMES. True to this oft used
company advertising
jingle, when a major U.S retailer begins selling
wind turbines via its
website something is definitely changing. Admired
and trend-setting Target is
now offering one-kilowatt Bergey turbines
through its Target.com on-line
store.
The Bergey XL.1 turbine is being offered as environmentally
clean
and back-up power for homes and small businesses. The
eight-foot
diameter turbine operates in a wind speed range of 7-24 miles per
hour
with maximum power output at higher wind speeds. Target is offering
the
XL.1 for $1700 and 32 or 40 foot towers for $490 and $690
respectively.
Before you jump into wind energy for your home, perform a wind
and
electricity analysis of your property. Make sure a small wind
turbine
will meet your expectations or recoup your investment in it. Most
U.S.
homes need more than 1 kilowatt of power. Check local building codes
and
consult with your neighbors too. Visit Target at http://www.target.com/
