There are some smaller individual masonary shingles built using
single-crystal cells. And I'm blanking out on the manufacturer...help me out
here folks.

I think the name is Atlantis out of Sacramento.

[Marco Mangelsdorf] Their principal product is their Sunslate composite slate roofing shingle using s-Si cells.  Each shingle puts out about 12 w.  Wire up a string of 6 in series to get  12 volts, 12 for 24, etc.
