ECS has had a terrible time with Trace circuit boards on DR
inverters, etc. corroding near salt water, in humid tropical climates.
Trace has approved a patented coating now manufactured by Sherman Williams to
spray on circuit boards. It can be purchased from Wireless Technology
Inventor for $45, a can, which covers 1500 sq inches, sprayed at 1.5
thousandths of an inch. It has a UV tracer and can be lit with a black
light to inspect coverage. You can soder through it, 24 hour cure, 15
minute tack free. Their web site is www.wirelessraincoat.com or
call 954 566 0996 in Ft Lauderdale Florida for a brochure.
