Don
and all,
Are
only problem with home brew is picking the right components and having fuse
cover to be able to extract the fuse without exposure to live parts. A good
UL-listed product would save time and be fully acceptable to all
inspectors.

HI Don,
I've always assembled my own combiner box
using all UL rated components.
The fuse block I use is a
LITTLEFUSE #356 , I use type ABC fuse's with
this.
In addition
I use the BUSS distribution block , a lightning arrestor, and
enclose it
all it a steel w/p j-box. Non of these have ever fried, burst
into
flames or caused any smoke shows.

Hi Carl, I too have always done home brew with
zero problems. By buying ready
made I was hoping to speed up the
installation.
