Ok Now we know we can install it somewhere other than inside!

Pagan, As installers we are no closer to recommending the Trace ST units. I believe that you/ Trace have yet to address the issues that have been clogging this list the past few weeks.
As installers we DO NOT have the luxury of installing things that may or may not work.We have in stock and ready to install a ST 2500 but with the feed back we felt that installing this unit would be damaging to our reputations as well to the solar industry. We were forced to purchase and install a competitors product. We use Trace products and are saddened that Trace does not take advantage of the POSITIVE, honest feed back that is present on this list. When a installer calls Trace for support please remember that with out US installing your product you wouldn't have the market share you presently have. We  DO THANK Trace for the recent meeting and your willingness to take the "wish list
" and incorporate this into your design considerations. But with the California power problem and the increased awareness of  customers (yours & ours) we need a reliable ST inverter.Hopefully you folks at Trace will be able to deal with this problem in a timely and professional way. Thanks

John - You have incorrectly posted the operating temperature of the ST as 0 to 45 Degrees Celsius. It is actually -39 to 45 Degrees Celsius.
