Arlington, Wash. -- The Distributed Residential and Commercial Markets division of Xantrex Technology Inc. who manufacture TraceÔ brand power electronics are pleased to announce that the Product Improvement Focus Group that was held in Sacramento on February 3, 2001 was a success.

A small group of active renewable energy professionals which included active installing dealers, product and sales managers from major distributors, small distributors and trade press were involved in the Focus Group. Together they worked cooperatively to review proposed product improvements to specific Trace™ products.

Ezra Auerbach, Market Manager Off Grid Power, says, "This was an incredible experience for our company. We learned an enormous amount from this process, and are particularly thankful for the open and frank exchange of ideas and information that the participants brought forward. One of the high points of this meeting for me was receiving a well thought out list of desired product improvements which was produced by a group of very experienced installing renewable energy professionals. It was gratifying to see that we are all on the same track and that the vast majority of the items on the list presented are included in our proposed improvements."

Mr. Auerbach says, "Building on the success of this Focus Group we are already at work planning our next session which we hope to host at the Mid West Renewable Energy Fair in June of this year."
