Like you said -they seem like a good idea. But I don't use them anymore.
First you can not count on customers obeying all the procedures necessary. I
have a big problem with them. When the vents get clogged and they stop
working, they blow the tops off the batteries. Not an acceptable failure
mode. And like all technology- it's guaranteed to fail.  Don
